AUDIO

I've always been passionate about audio - I began my career working as a radio reporter and I've since gone on to produce numerous podcasts. A few highlights include creating a podcast that's had more than 270,000 downloads, co-founding a production company that has clients in technology, music and finance, and launching an Apple Podcasts chart-topping music show. Take a look at some examples below.

My Favourite Elliott Smith Song

I created this music podcast focused on the work of singer/songwriter, Elliott Smith. It has since reached over 320,000 listeners and featured guests including Louis Theroux, Phoebe Bridgers, Margaret Cho and many more.  We have also hosted two live events, raising more than £3,000 for charity, and have been featured in publications including NMEVice and Pitchfork

Public Service Broadcasting: The Bright Magic Podcast

For 4Kicks Productions, a company I co-founded, we were commissioned by the band Public Service Broadcasting to make the official companion podcast for their album, Bright Magic.

The Noughties Podcast

I co-created this podcast which explores UK culture from the '00s with help from some of the noughties biggest names - including DJ Tony Blackburn, Trigger Happy TV's Dom Joly, Howard Brown from the Halifax adverts, comedian Rhona Cameron and many more. The series reached 4,000 listeners in its first four weeks.

Investing for Impact

I created British International Investment's first ever podcast. The fortnightly show comprised of three strands: Understanding Impact for impact investing focused episodes; Insight for highlights from the company's regular Insight events; and ESG for practical guidance for investors on environmental, social and governance issues. I also co-produced a partnership series with Development Finance, a sector publication.

Leading the Way

Leading the Way is a podcast series I created for The Africa List - a membership network of rising business leaders in the African continent's most exciting economies. The series aimed to share practical guidance on leading and managing a company in the African context, and featured insight from CEOs, management training experts and academics. After its launched, it reached the Apple top 10 for business podcasts in Uganda and Tanzania, two of the countries we worked in. You can listen to an episode here.
